The new outsole design is engineered to improve biomechanics and flexibility. Also, the MaxTrac outsole and the unique Timp outsole shape provide the necessary grip not only on trails but also on forest roads and roads.
The adjusted fit and lacing system work together to provide better hold. The cushioning of the Quantic midsole with InnerFlex elasticity and flexibility adds comfort to every step.
With many updates including cushioning, fit, and an aggressive outsole, it has become a completely new Timp.
The midsole uses ALTRA EGO MAX, providing the best comfort and performance even on long distances over harsh terrain.
The upper adopts a completely new mesh structure, improving fit around the heel and midfoot, as well as durability and breathability.
The outsole uses MaxTrac, known for its sticky grip. The renewed lug pattern is designed to grip stronger on climbs, descents, and flats.
A completely new system is also adopted for drainage. Water that enters the shoe, such as rainwater, goes into holes under the insole and is designed to exit through the midsole.
By placing the drainage outlet lower than the sole, moisture can be expelled more quickly and reliably to the outside.
