The fabric is knitted and garments are sewn at the company's facility in North Carolina, USA, using a patent-pending process.

Men's Allpaca parkas range in weight from 10-14 oz, depending on size.
*Because the fabric is highly elastic, there may be slight variations depending on how the fabric is placed and measured.
*These garments are usually sized for a normal fit, not a compression fit.
If a more dynamic fit is required, the size can be reduced.
■Care.
It is not necessary to wash these garments frequently.
It is recommended that shirts and hoodies are worn 8-10 times before washing to acclimatise them to the body shape.
Just hang it up when actively sweating. Alpaca leaves no odour and prevents bacterial growth.
As it is an animal fibre, it is susceptible to insect damage and, like wool, should be kept free from insects.
However, washing will not damage the hoodie.
▪ Use low to medium load, cold water, light cycle (normal cycle OK) and wash with other high-performance materials and socks.
It is recommended not to wash large quantities of laundry or with heavy fabrics such as jeans or towels.
Use normal detergents. Do not use 'washing soda', chlorine bleach, peroxide bleach or 'oxygen-based detergents'.
Tumble dry the garment with other similar items on low heat.
Drying only takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Drying over medium to high heat or with large quantities of jeans or towels is not recommended.
Fleece products do not shrink much.
When garments are received, they may be slightly flattened or stiff due to shipping or folding.
If this happens, turn the garment inside out and place it in the dryer without heat (fluffing cycle) using three or four wool dryer balls and rotate it for 15-20 minutes. This will cause the garment to fluff.
○When normal detergents are not available due to backpacking, travelling, etc.
-Backpacking: rinse with river water and allow to dry naturally. Do not use detergents and follow the principle of leaving no traces.
-When travelling: use shampoo, neutral liquid dish/hand detergent (1-2 drops), rinse in sink, wring out and hang dry or place on towels to dry.
